Founder of Grupo Empresarial Hervaz. Since 1950, he has managed and led the transformation of agricultural and livestock operations into a diversified and international business holding. His figure represents the commitment, effort, and excellence that have defined a professional career spanning more than 70 years of experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Córdoba.
He was the first member of the second generation to join the Group and played a key role in launching its agricultural operations through the incorporation of irrigated farmland, an area that has continued to grow and evolve through the adoption of advanced irrigation techniques aimed at maximizing efficiency, as well as the introduction of new crop varieties to achieve higher productivity.
He also led the Group’s expansion into the industrial sector, positioning MYG as the leading supplier of industrial materials and gases in the Campo de Gibraltar region.
From 2000 to 2016, he served as President of ASAJA Cádiz, contributing to the stability and strengthening of the province’s agricultural and livestock sectors. His presidency was defined by his commitment to protecting the dehesa ecosystem, promoting unity within the sector, and defending the interests of Andalusian agriculture in both Madrid and Brussels.
Livestock Operations Director and Board Member
He studied Veterinary Medicine at the University of Córdoba.
Since joining the group in 1989, he has managed the group’s livestock operations. He has been the driving force behind the professionalization of breeding, fattening, and marketing of livestock, improving productivity, breed quality, and animal welfare.
He has played a fundamental role in the development of livestock activity in the province of Cádiz, representing its interests and advising other farms and livestock breeders.
He is currently the president of Bovinos del Sur, a section of the DCOOP cooperative that brings together livestock breeders from the provinces of Cádiz and Málaga.
He holds an Executive MBA from San Telmo Business School.
In 1989, he founded Procubitos, which has grown to become Europe’s largest manufacturer, distributor, and marketer of food-grade ice, operating 9 production plants with a daily output exceeding 1,000 tonnes.
He has played a key role in the professionalization of the food ice industry at an international level, driving the development of new technologies and products.
In 2002, he founded EPIA, the association representing ice manufacturers across Europe, through which the quality, hygiene, and sustainability standards that currently define the sector were developed.
She holds degrees in Law and Business Administration from CEU San Pablo University.
She joined the Group in 1993 and has played a key role in its professionalization and transformation. Her contribution has been instrumental in the planning and strategic direction of the companies within the holding, focusing on risk management and mitigation, participating in key negotiations, and supporting major investment decisions.
